Library Card Registration Form

Library cards are free of charge. Any person who wishes to access ECRL services may register in person for a library card. To register online, you must have a Nova Scotia address.

Adults are fully responsible for the use of their library card. Children (13 and under) must have the permission of a parent, guardian, or caregiver to register for a library card. If registering online, the form must include the name of an adult granting their permission. That adult is agreeing to take full responsibility for use of the Child's card.

Please read ECRL's Circulation Policy and Library Use Policy (found here) before registering for a library card.

Online Registration

Please note that online registration is not immediate. Once a library staff member completes the registration process, we will send your library card number and temporary PIN by email, and you will receive your card in the mail a few days later.

Children (13 and under) must have permission from a parent, guardian, or caregiver to register for a library card. The adult listed in the following field is agreeing to take full responsibility for use of the Juvenile card.
