Service Announcement - 50% Capacity

Please note the following changes to Eastern Counties Regional Library service, effective Wednesday, December 22:

• All library branches will operate at 50% capacity, as per the Government of Nova Scotia.
• As long as the number of people inside the library remains below 50% capacity, the length of their visit will not be limited. We ask that library users stay mindful of their time if capacity is reached and others are waiting to enter.

Please note that a physical distance of 2 metres (6 feet) between library users and staff must be maintained in the library, except among people in the same household.

Library programs have been cancelled and Community-Use Rooms remain unavailable.

Masks continue to be required for all library users and staff. As always, do not visit the library if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or if you are a close contact of a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.
