Canso Public Library will be closed 4:30pm-5:30pm on Friday, September 13, and closed for the day on Saturday, September 14. 

Petit de Grat Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, September 18, and Thursday, September 19.

Sherbrooke Public Library - Temporary Reduction in Hours

Sherbrooke Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday each week until further notice. In-person service will be available during regularly scheduled hours (12:30pm-5:30pm) on Thursdays. Holds that become available while the library is closed will be mailed directly to users. The outdoor bookdrop will be emptied on Thursdays.

Port Hawkesbury Public Library closed for the afternoon

Please note that Port Hawkesbury Public Library has closed early for the afternoon today, Monday, September 9. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

St. Peter's Public Library closed Saturday, September 7

Please note that St. Peter's Public Library will be closed Saturday, September 7. 

Labour Day closures

The following closures will take place due to Labour Day:

• ECRL Regional Office, Port Hawkesbury Public Library, and Alexander Doyle Public Library in Mabou will be closed on Monday, September 2.
• Sherbrooke Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, September 3.
• Cyril Ward Memorial Public Library in Guysborough will be unstaffed on Tuesday, September 3. Adult library users can still access the library during extended hours (7am-9pm) with their library card.
• Canso Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, September 4.
