The 2023 Read Atlantic/Lire Atlantique Unlimited Access collection emerges from a collaboration between public libraries in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island and the Atlantic Publishers Marketing Association. This initiative provides all public library users across the Atlantic provinces access to a pool of 50 eBooks and audiobooks with no holds or waitlists. Notably, these eBooks incorporate various features to enhance accessibility for readers with print-related
disabilities.

The collection includes some of the season’s hottest new releases and big award winners, such as Nosy Parker by Lesley Crewe (2022 Globe & Mail bestseller) and Some Hellish by Nicholas Herring (winner of the $60,000 Atwood Gibson Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize in 2022). There are 36 English books and 14 French books in the collection, which will be available for immediate borrowing through OverDrive/Libby.

Nova Scotia will be featuring the following:

Some There Are Fearless by Becca Babcock

Net Worth by Quentin Casey

Nosy Parker by Lesley Crewe

Life Sentence: How My Father Defended Two Murderers and Lost Himself by Amy Bell

I Place You Into the Fire by Rebecca Thomas
