Renovations at Petit-de-Grat Library

For Immediate Release:       Renovations at the Petit de Grat Library

ECRL is excited to announce that renovations will begin at the Petit de Grat Library on April 15. Repairs required due to damage sustained during Hurricane Fiona will be made as well as general improvements to the library space. Library service will be temporarily moved to room 113 at La Picasse beginning April 13. The Petit de Grat Library will be closed on April 11-12 to move operations to room 113.

Library services available at Petit de Grat’s temporary location will include a public access computer; staff assistance for requesting materials; a small collection to browse for checkout; and pick up and return of requested materials (holds). Please note there will be a limited seating area.

“I would like to thank the Municipality of the County of Richmond for their support of the library. Their public works and recreation staff deserve credit for all the work planning the renovations and helping to arrange the alternate location for service. It is fantastic that library staff will be able to keep helping the community and get books for folks while the work is ongoing.” Said Clair Rankin, ECRL Board Chair.
