Labour Day Closure Notice

Please note the following closures for Labour Day across the region:

• All ECRL locations will be closed on Monday, September 1.
• Sherbrooke Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, September 2.
• St. Peter's Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, September 3.
• Canso Public Library will be open regular hours Wednesday, September 3 and will be closed Thursday, September 4.

St. Peter's Public Library Closure Notice

St. Peter's Public Library will be closed Friday, August 29, and Saturday, August 30.

Alexander Doyle Public Library Closure Notice

Alexander Doyle Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, August 20 and Thursday, August 21. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Chéticamp Public Library Delayed Opening

Chéticamp Public Library will delay opening Wednesday, August 20 for reorganization after renovations. The library will reopen at 2 pm. We appreciate your patience. 

Open Library - Technical Issues

Please note that Cyril Ward Memorial Public Library in Guysborough is currently closed due to technical issues with the Open Library system and the current staffing vacancy. We hope to restore full services as soon as possible and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Sherbrooke Public Library Early Closure Notice

Sherbrooke Public Library will close at 4pm due to a local power outage.

Canso Public Library Closure Notice

Canso Public Library will be closed Saturday, August 16.

Port Hawkesbury Public Library Closure Notice

Port Hawkesbury Public Library will close at 10:30am on Wednesday, August 13 due to high heat and humidity. We apologize for any inconvenience.
