Effective immediately the Alexander Doyle Public Library in Mabou will be closed on Mondays due to a staffing shortage. We are working to resolve this situation as quickly as possible but expect this temporary service reduction to last 6-8 weeks. We will update the public as this situation progresses. We appreciate your patience during this time. 

Victoria Day Closures

Please be advised of the following closures for Victoria Day:

Monday, May 18: ECRL Regional Office, Port Hawkesbury Public Library, Alexander Doyle Public Library (Mabou)

Tuesday, May 19: Cyril Ward Memorial Public Library (Guysborough), Sherbrooke Public Library

Wednesday, May 20: Canso Public Library, St. Peter's Public Library, Petit de Grat Public Library, Cheticamp Public Library

Cyril Ward Memorial Public Library Staffing Notice

Cyril Ward Memorial Public Library in Guysborough will be unstaffed Friday May 15. The Open Library is available until 9 pm for adult cardholders.

The ECRL Regional Office is closed, Tuesday, May 12 due to facility repairs.

The ECRL Regional Office is closed Monday, May 11 due to work on the facility. 

The Petit de Grat Public Library is closed today, 1:00pm to 3:00pm, Friday May 8. 

The ECRL Regional Office will be closed May 7 and May 8 due to work on the facility. 

The ECRL Regional Office is closed today, May 4, due to a power outage. 

The ECRL Regional Office is closed today, May 1st, due to facility repairs. 

The Canso Public Library will be closed Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1st.
