Extended access temporarily suspended in Guysborough

Extended (unstaffed) access has been temporarily suspended at Cyril Ward Memorial Public Library due to recent incidents of vandalism. ECRL Management is currently investigating and aims to reinstate extended hours next week.

We value this service and are committed to continuing extended hours, but this depends on all users respecting the space and library policies.

The library remains open during regular staffed hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:30pm-5:30pm, and Saturday from 9:30am-1:00pm).

March 18 Closure Notices

Sherbrooke Public Library and Canso Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, March 18. 

Alexander Doyle Public Library Closure Notice

Alexander Doyle Public Library in Mabou has closed for the day due to a local power outage.

The Port Hawkesbury Public Library is closing at 1:00 pm today, the St. Peter's Public Library and the Petit de Grat Public Library are closing at 2:00 pm today, and the Coady & Tompkins Memorial Public Library is closing at 2:30pm Saturday, March 14 due to weather and travel conditions. 

All ECRL locations are closed today, Friday, March 13 due to weather and travel conditions.
