All ECRL Locations Offering Curbside Pickup Only

Effective Wednesday, February 9th, library service at all Eastern Counties Regional Library (ECRL) locations will be available by Curbside Pickup only. Public access to libraries will not be available until further notice. Library staff will call borrowers to set up a Curbside Pickup appointment when requested items are available.

ECRL is unable to safely provide in-person library service while distributing COVID-19 rapid test kits. We recognize that the distribution of rapid test kits is an important service for the community at this time. This temporary service adjustment will protect the safety of our staff and members of the public, and will help to minimize the risk of more acute service disruptions.

Before travelling to your nearest library for rapid test kits, call for pick-up instructions and to confirm local availability. Find your library and contact information here.

In addition to Curbside Pickup, ECRL users can access the Library Kiosk at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre, Borrow by Mail, and Digital Library Services. Open Library extended hours will continue to be available in Guysborough – Cyril Ward Memorial Public Library.
