Port Hawkesbury Public Library offering Curbside Pickup only

Effective immediately, Port Hawkesbury Public Library is offering Curbside Pickup only. Access to the library is not available.

As per Public Health and the Department of Education, non-essential visitors are not permitted in schools. Library users are considered non-essential visitors, and therefore cannot enter the school. This change will remain in effect until further direction is provided by Public Health. We regret the inconvenience this will cause library users but it is a necessary step in protecting SAERC students and staff.

Library staff will call borrowers to set up a Curbside Pickup appointment when requested items are available.

Library staff are available to provide assistance via email or phone Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 4:00pm. Please call 902-625-2729 or email porthawkesbury@ecrl.ca for assistance.

ECRL’s Library Kiosk at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre is a convenient self-service way to browse and borrow library books. Library returns are accepted in the drop box next to the kiosk in the Civic Centre.
